St. Dominics qualified for the semi-final of the Junior B Championship on Saturday evening. Oran started the stronger and some over zealous tackling from St. Dominics gave them a number of scorable frees which were converted. In all, they converted 6 in the opening half. In return, Anthony Kelly hit three points from placed balls while good scores from Adrian Brennan and Declan Brennan ensured that there would be the minimum between the teams when the half time whistle went.
St. Dominics gained a stranglehold in midfield and only for poor shooting, they could have been out of site after 10 minutes 6 missed opportunitys, including a goal chance for James Kelly were squandered.
Most impressive for St. Dominics were Trevor Brennan, Paul O'Connor ,Anthony Kelly and Aidan Fallon
