U-12 FOOTBALL

St Dominics are 2009 u12 Division 1 League Champions. The u12s completed their league campaign in Hyde Park on Sunday with a convincing win over Roscommon Gaels to win the Division 1 title for the first time in the Clubs history. The league was very competitive with Dom's topping the table of Clan na Gael, Boyle, Padraig Pearses, St. Brigids and Roscommon Gaels. Another magnificent team performance on Sunday, this time in the first half put the Dom's boys well in the lead at half time. All credit to Roscommon Gaels who put in a great effort in the second half with some fine displays. However St Dom's were on top for long periods and again different players stood out on Sunday. The backs were solid throughout, with midfield combining well and some well taken scores upfront. Congratulations to all the lads for their efforts and a special thanks to the parents for their continued support.
