MINOR FOOTBALL MEETING.
An important Meeting of the Minor Football Club will take place on this Monday Night 3rd Nov at 8.30pm.All Trainers from all age Groups must attend and Team reports for the Year to be submitted in typed form at this Meeting.Managers for next Years Teams also to be discussed.
MINOR FOOTBALL A.G.M..
The A.G.M. of the Minor Football Club will take place on Monday 10th Nov at 8.30pm in the Meeting Room.
LADIES FOOTBALL A.G.M..
The A.G.M. of the Ladies Football will be held on Wednesday 12th November @ 8.30 pm in the meeting room St. Dominic’s. All welcome.
SENIOR FOOTBALL A.G.M..
The A.G.M. of the Senior Football Club will take place on Friday 14th Nov at 8.30pm in the Meeting Room.
OVERALL CLUB EXECUTIVE A.G.M..
The A.G.M. of the Club Executive will take place on Sunday 30th Nov at 4pm in Culleen Hall.
GOLF WEEKEND AWAY.
This Years Dominics Golf society Captains (Padraig Dervin) Weekend away will take place this Weekend in Eniscrone. This is always a very enjoyable Annual event and a good Social gathering for past and present Members so the best of luck to the society for the Weekend.
U-21 FOOTBALL.
Our U-21 Footballers played two Championship Games at the Weekend and came away with two Victories. On Saturday we played Kilglass in extreamly difficult weather conditions. Dominics played with the strong breeze in the first half but failed to take advantage and indeed it was Kilglass who played the better Football in the half and it did not look good for Dominics at the break leading by just 5 pts to 2.However a powerfull hardworking display by Dominics against the breeze limited Kilglass to 4 pts and we snatched 3 pts ourselves on the breaks to claw out a victory on a scoreline of 8pts to 6.This was a great victory for this youthful side and also credit to referee Eddie Nestor for the excellent job in the very difficult conditions. On Monday we played our bogey Team Kilmore and this time Dominics played some good Football right from the start with some great defending and quick interpassing amongst the forwards. We led at the break by 6pts to 4 and with the aid of the breeze in the second half we pushed on and won by 13
Pts to 5pts. Our next Game is against Kilbride in a couple of Weeks time.Training for all U-21 Players takes place on Friday Nights from 8-9 pm. Home based Players to attend Senior Training on Wed Nights also.
SENIOR FOOTBALL.
Our Senior Footballers play Strokestown in the relegation play-off replay in Knockcroghery on Sat 8th Nov. Training takes place this Wed at 8pm sharp.
U-16 FOOTBALL.
Our U-16s will now play Castlerea in the County league Semi-Final on Sunday 14th Nov. The Game was cancelled last Weekend due to the Weather and this Weekend our Club Golf society Weekend takes place. Training takes place this Wed and Friday from 7-8pm.
