CLUB NOTES - Sunday 29th June 2008
CONGRATS.
Well done to Roscommon Minor Footballers and their Management Team on a great Victory over Galway last Saturday and of course we are represented on the Panel by Naos Connaughton who is also underage again next Year.
CLUB REGISTRATION.
THE Club Membership Registrar is currently been finalised and will be displayed in the Meeting Room and Home Dressing room this Week. All Players,Trainers,Officers,Officials and indeed any Club paticipants are reminded that they must be registered.Contact David o Connor for any registration Queries.
PARKS MEETING.
A Meeting of the Parks Committee will take place on this Tuesday Night 1st July at 9.30pm in the Meeting Room. All Committees must have representatives present as some important matters have to be decided.
CLUB HISTORY.
A History of the Club is currently been researched and the Committee would very much appreciate any old Photos or information you may have. If you have anything contact Eileen,Donald or J.J.
O GARA CUP FOOTBALL.
Dominics Play Clan na Gael B this Weekend in Knockcroghery.Training is going very well at the Moment and Manager Malachy Gately is confidend that we can reach the last Four at least.
JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL.
We have Qualified for the South Semi–Final but this will not take place until September.
TANSEY CUP FOOTBALL.
Dominics play Oran at the Weekend more details at Training during the week.
JUNIOR HURLING.
Our Junior Hurlers play Athleague/Tremane this Tuesday (1st July) in either Athleague or Tremane at 8pm. Last Tuesday we had a good win over Roscommon Gaels.

LADIES FOOTBALL.
Our U-10 teams travelled to Four Roads last Wednesday evening. All girls had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Games were played in good spirits. Many thanks to all who supported our Ladies, special thanks to Four Roads for the friendly welcome. Our next game is at home against Ballinasloe on Tues 1st July. Be at the pitch for 6:15. Following week, 8th July, we travel to St.Brigids.
MINOR FOOTBALL.
We play Kilmore this Wed Evening in Kilmore at 8pm. We meet at Knockcroghery Pitch at 6.45pm. We had a hard earned Victory against St Barrys last Week having trailed by 7 pts at one stage we played some great Football in the second half to win by 2 pts.Training takes place as usual on Sunday next at 6pm.All Players please attend.
U-16 FOOTBALL.
Training takes place this Friday Evening at 7pm.All Players please attend. The League Semi-Final will be coming up shortly so a full turn out is important.
U-14 FOOTBALL.
Training takes place this Tuesday at 7pm and Thursday at 7.30pm.
U-12 FOOTBALL.
Our U-12 Footballers had a mixed Week last Week with our Div 1 Team having a good Victory over a strong St Brigids side and our Div 3 Team going down to a slick Kilmore Team.This Friday Al Players are requested to be at Knockcroghery at 6pm sharp.
U-10 ORAN TOURNAMENT.
On Mon last we played St Brendans and this was very evenly matched encounter with both Teams playing good Football, and in the end Dominics won by a couple of points.This Week we Play Tulsk and on Monday next 7th July they play Oran.Training takes place every Sunday Morning from 12 to 1pm.We have 32 players at this age Group and their 3 Trainers are doing a marvellous Job.
U-8/BEGINNERS FOOTBALL.
Training continues for all U-8 and Beginners on Sunday Mornings at 12 o clock to 1pm.The weather has been poor the last couple of Weeks but it is great to see the large numbers at both age Groups and credit to the 6 Trainers who train those two age Groups.
