A Watch were found in the Dressing Room after the Parish League on Sunday Week last and is now with Vincent Pierse. It is a “Telstar” Watch.

O GARA CUP FOOTBALL.

Dominics continue their winning habits with a good victory over Creggs in Knockcroghery on Sunday last. Creggs started brightly and shot into a 3 point lead and could have goaled but for a great goal line clearance by Andrew Grady but Dominics settle near the break and levelled matters at 5 points each. Dominics were much the better side in the second half with David Corcoran outstanding and Liam Murray finding Gaps in the Creggs defence. Michael Finneran shot over some great scores and Niall Naughton and Seamus McKeown worked hard to insure Victort. Our next Match is on Friday Eve when we play Eire oG in Knockcroghery at 8pm.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL.

Dominics had a hard earned victory over Oran in Knockcroghery on Saturday last. The sides were level on many occasions but the introduction of James Kelly for his brother Des in the second half proved to be a master stroke. James ghosted in behind the Oran defence with 10 Mins remaining and with all the coolness of a vetern slotted the ball in the corner of the Oran Net and followed up this with a huge point five minutes later from 40m out to secure victory.

TANSEY CUP FOOTBALL.

We play Strokestown this Wed (18th) in Knockcroghjery at 8pm.

U-12 FOOTBALL.

Our U-12 Footballers continue on their winning ways with a great victory over a very good Boyle Team. Boyle were much bigger than the Dominics lads but some great Team work insured that Dominics kept the Ball moving fast all the time and this was crucial in the end. We now play Clan na Gael on Wed eve in Johnstown at 7pm in Div 1.

U-10 FOOTBALL.

Our U-10 Community Games Team played Strokestown in the replay on Thursday last. This again was a very exciting Game by two evenly matched sides. The sides were level at half time but in the end Strokestown held out for a win by a Goal. Wel done to the Dominics lads and the Managers who had the Team very well prepared.

U-10 ORAN TOURNAMENT.
