CLUB NOTES - Sunday 2nd March 2008

COUNTY BOARD FUNDRAISER.

The County Board Punchestown Races Fundraiser takes place on Thur 24th April. A table consists of 10 people and each Club is expected to have at least 1 Table. If interested in Travelling for this entertaining Day out please contact Larry Shine.

REGISTRATION .

 Please note that if you are not already registered contact your Secretary or any of your Trainers.

LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE.

A Level 1 Coaching course will take place this Wed Night 5th March in the County Board Offices at 8.30pm.

SENIOR FOOTBALL .

The long and exhaustive trawl for a Senior Football Manager ended on Thursday Night last when Malachy Gately agreed to take on the Job for this Year. Malachy has been involved with the Team for the past couple of Years and was appointed unopposed at the Meeting.He does not have much time to prepare his Troops as they play the first round of the OGara Cup away to Michael Glaveys on Sunday next at 12. We wish Malachy and his selectors Declan Kilcline and Larry Watson every success.

SENIOR FOOTBALL COMMITTEE MEETING.

A Meeting of the Senior Football Committee will take place on this Thursday Night at 9pm in the Meeting Room. The posts of Junior and U-21 Manager will be filled on the Night. Anyone interested in putting forward their Names for either post please contact John Caulfield by this Wed Night.

MONTHLY FOOTBALL OPEN MEETING.

The Monthly Meeting will now take place on Monday Night the 10th March at 9pm in the Meeting Room.

CLUB EXECUTIVE MEETING.

An Executive Meeting will  take place on Tuesday Night the 11th March at 9pm in the Meeting Room. Items for the agenda to Larry by Sun 9th March

MINOR FOOTBALL.

Our Minor Team  travelled to Ballinameen to play the home Team and despite been short a few regulars played some very good Football but unfortunetly lost out in the end to a strong home Team. Training continues as usual this Week.

 U-16 FOOTBALL.

 Training takes place this Tuesday Night in Rosbowl Roscommon from 7-8pm. We meet at Knockcroghery at 6.30pm.

U-14 FOOTBALL.

 Training takes place this Tuesday Night in the Pitch.As this is the first Training session all Players are asked to be in the Dressing Room at 7.10pm for a short Players and Management Meeting.

LADIES FOOTBALL.

 Under 14 club training continues on Tuesdays from 6.30-7.30pm. Please note change of Time for Month of March.
