CLUB NOTES - Sunday 17th December

DINNER DANNCE.

 This Years Dinner Dance will take place in the Hodson Bay Hotel on Friday Night 11th Janurary. This Years Intermediate Football Champions will be presented with their winners medals by Dermot Early on the Night. Also the Club will present a new Intermediate Football Cup to the County Board, the Cup will be known as Corn Jamsie Murray. As the past few Years event was a sell out Patrons are advised to contact any committee member this Weekend to secure their Tickets.

BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS CHARITY MATCH.

A charity Match will take place in Knockcroghery on St Stephens day at 12.30pm between the 1995 Intermediate Champions and this Years Intermediate Champions. Proceeds from the Match will go towards the Irish Guidedogs Assoiation. Even do there is a seven Year gap there are still seven or eight duel stars and according to 95 Manager Mal Gately none of this Years Team will make the 95 Team as the Fitness level would be out of their reach as the 95 Team have been doing some high altitude training on Galey Hill over the past three Weeks. Some guests celeberties will also tog out on the Day and the Match will be refereed by Seamus Hayden with the aid of a Quad Bike. GOLF SOCIETY CHRISTMAS OUTING.

The Golf society have this Year organised an outing on Saturday 29th Dec to the recently opened champions course in Moyvalley.Tee times 10am to 11.30am. As there are only a limited numbers of places available anyone interested should contact Eddie Miley immeadiatly.

SYMPATHY.

The Club offer its Sympathy to the Dolan Family Knockcroghery Village on the death of Joes Father from Luskma Bannagher Co. Offally and to the Pierse family Ballymurray on the Death of Vincents sister in England over the Weekend.
