CLUB NOTES - Sunday 7th October

 

FOOTBALL MEETING

A Meeting of the Minor Football Club will take place on this Wednesday  Night 10nd Oct at 9pm in the Meeting Room.All Trainers from  beginners up and all Officers please attend.

INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL FINAL

Best of luck to our Intermediate Team in the Final on Sunday (see preview inside) Our Intermediate Football Team Play in the County Final on Sunday next 14th Oct against Michael Glaveys in Athleague at 1.30pm. We would ask as many as possible to come out and support the Team as this Team has worked hard all Year to get to the Final.Also we would ask as many as possible to put up Flags and Buntings outside their Premises and Houses.
O ROURKE CUP
We played Roscommon Gaels in Termonbarry on last Wed Night at 8pm under lights.
Despite getting off to a good start the Gaels overpowered us in the second half and won by 5 pts.

OWNSIE HOARE U-10 CUP

Congratulations yet again to our U-10s who won the Ownsie Hoare Cup in Hyde Park on Saturday last.Dominics defeated a strong St Brigids side in the Semi-Final and beat a very skilful Roscommon Gaels Team in the Final played in brillant Sunshine.This Team is very Talented and excellently coached and will no doubt proudly represent the Club at U-12 level over the next two Years.We would like to thank Roscommon Gaels for inviting us into this very enjoyable annual Tournament.
 

U-8 FOOTBALL-Ultan Feeley Cup

The Finals of the Fair Tournament will take place this Sat in Knockcroghery at 12 noon.Teams involved Dominics,Brigids,Ros Gaels and Oran.

U-10 FOOTBALL-Fr Denis Killeen Cup
The U- 10 Finals will take place this Sat at 10.30am.Teams involved Dominics,Clan na Gael,St Ciarans and Kilbride.

 

MINOR LADIES FOOTBALL

The Minor Championship starts in a couple of Weeks.This Year we will be playing in the 9 a side group with a panel of 14 Players.Would any Girl wishing to play please contact Bernie Kilcline before the Weekend.

U-12 LADIES

U-12 girls beat  Michael Glaveys in Ballinlough on Sunday evening last.  They are now through to a final which will be played on Saturday.  Full details at training on Tuesday.  All players are asked to attend.

UNDERAGE FOOTBALL TRAINING

There will be NO Training for Beginners ,U-8, or U-10 this Sunday Morning.
