FOOTBALL MEETING
A Meeting of the Football Club will take place on this Tuesday Night 2nd Oct at 9pm in the Meeting Room.
CLUB HISTORY COMMITTEE MEETING
A Meeting of the above committee takes place on this Thursday night in the Meeting room at 9pm.Anyone with old photographs or programmes please come along to the Meeting.
O ROURKE CUP
We play Roscommon Gaels in Termonbarry on this Wed Night at 8pm under lights.
Training also on Frioday Night at 8pm.
OWNSIE HOARE U-10 CUP
We have been kindly invited into the Ownsie Hoare Cup again this Year and it takes place this Sat 6th Oct in Hyde Park.We meet at Knockcroghery Pitch at 10am to arrive at Hyde Park at 10.30am.Anyone going direct please inform Managers.
U-8/U-10 FOOTBALL
The Knockcroghery Fair Tournament this Year will be run off over two Weekends,one for Semi-Finals and one for the Finals.The Semi-Finals will take place this coming Weekend and the Finals on the 13th Oct. The Fixtures for the Semi Finals are as Follows- (U-10)- Friday 5th Oct 6.30pm. Kilbride v St Ciarans.Sunday 7th Oct at 12 noon St Dominics v Clan na Gael. (U-8) Sat 6th Oct-11.45am St Dominics v Oran and St Brigids v Ros Gaels. Winners play in “A” Finals and runners up in “B” Finals on Sat 13th Oct. Note- No training this Sunday Morning for U-8,U-10 or beginners.
U-12 FOOTBALL COUNTY FINAL
Our U-12 Team have yet again come up trumps when they defeated Western Gaels to make it four U-12 Titles in a row.This is an amazing achivement as it almost a new panel of Players each Year.(see match report inside) Willie Doyle has been Manager for the past five Years and this is a great achivement for him as well.With him this Year was Michael Mullally,John Joyce and Seamus Byrne so well done to all concerned.Michael o Riordan captained the Team and Martin McDonnell got Man of the Match award.A large crowd greeted the Victories Team and Officials in Knockcroghery and Chairman Conon Lavin congratulated all involved.Minor Secretary Ger Fallon thanked the huge number of supporters who attended the match and invited everyone who wished to take an active part in the Club to come along to our upcoming A.G.M. as we put our structures in place for next Year.This has been a hugely successful Year with the U-10s winning the Oran Tourament and our U-14s winning the Div 1 Championship and our U-16s still in the league Semi-Final.
MINOR LADIES FOOTBALL
The Minor Championship starts in a couple of Weeks.This Year we will be playing in the 9 a side group with a panel of 14 Players.Would any Girl wishing to play please contact Bernie Kilcline before the Weekend.
U-12 LADIES
U-10 girls blitz next Sunday 7th October 11 am in St Brigid’s. The following girls please meet at St Brigids at 10 30 am .

U-12 girls lost their quarter-final to a much stronger Castlerea team. Next match on Saturday with training continuing on Tuesday at 6.30 pm.
UNDERAGE FOOTBALL TRAINING
There will be NO Training for Beginners ,U-8, or U-10 this Sunday Morning.
